Coldplay confirm Violet Hill as new single

Coldplay have announced the first single to drop from their eagerly awaited new album “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends” will be “Violet Hill”.

The track will begin airplay on radio and music television from May 5th, and will be available for purchase a couple weeks later in record stores and iTunes.

The new album itself will be released on June 16th or 17th depending where you live in the world.

The track listing is as follows:

1. Life in Technicolor
2. Cemeteries Of London
3. Lost!
4. 42
5. Lovers in Japan/Reign of Life
6. Yes!
7. Viva la Vida
8. Violet Hill
9. Strawberry Swing
10. Death and All His Friends

“Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends” will be Coldplay’s fourth studio album since their formation years in 1996.

    It would be better to say “oasis new single”, because Violet Hill is clearly a copy of oasis sound.

    Hi Guys,
    why no one said a word a bout this nice video of Chris Martin singing “Back in the USSR” during a 2008 live concert in U.S.?

    Someone posted it on yesterday on youtube at last, and fortunately…

    Chris Martin’ voice is incredible on that one they transformed into a “Viva La Vida drum style” version.
