Coldplay Unlikely To Play Glastonbury
Published February 5th, 2007 in News.
Chris Martin has told BBC Radio 6 in the UK that his band Coldplay are unlikely to make the much anticipated return to the Glastonbury music festival this year.
The frontman says he doesn’t feel the will of the people, and a return to the UK’s most celebrated music festival before the year 2020 might even be too soo for them.
“I think Glastonbury is bored of us,” he told BBC 6Music. “I don’t think we can even take a harmonica down there for a good 15 years. We might go, but you’ve got to know when you are welcome and when you’re not.”
The best-selling band were among the headlining acts when the festival was last staged back in 2005.
