The guys from Coldplay are expected to release a new studio album sooner than expected, after a series of productive sessions in the recording studio recently.

The band had asked fans to be patient while they worked on new material for their fourth album. But it seems a new Coldplay record could be with us in the not-to-distant future afterall.

“There’s no-one more surprised than the band. They genuinely did intend to take these sessions at a very leisurely pace,” a source told the Daily Star. “However, they went better than anyone could possibly have hoped for and a vast amount of material is already in the can.”
