Coldplay singer Chris Martin played a brief charity acoustic set at London’s Union Chapel his week, covering Bob Dylan’s Buckets Of Rain, When You Were Young by The Killers, and a new Coldplay track titled Bucket For A Rain.

During his acoustic cover of the Dylan track, Martin revealed he taken a fancy to British pop star Lily Allen and dedicated the performance to her.

Martin said: “This is for Lily Allen. She’s gorgeous, she’s sweet. And if I wasn’t married…”

Allen herself later took to the stage playing a five-song set. She embarrassingly forgot the words to her track Everything’s Just Wonderful, and told the audience: “We’ve had to Google my own lyrics.”
