Coldplay Aid Donation Drive
Published November 17th, 2006 in News.
Coldplay are helping a fund-raising drive for cancer prevention by donating signed t-shirts to be auctioned off on internet site eBay.
The stars are set to support Cancer Active with their donations, which launched Cancer Prevention Fortnight on November 13th, with the aim of increasing people’s understanding of how they can protect themselves against cancer.
Auctioning4u’s charity sales director Isabella Pawlowski said: “A lot of the time celebrity auctions only reach a small number of people.
“By using the power of eBay, we can appeal to a worldwide audience of 203 million and raise some much needed money and awareness for Cancer Active.”
The Coldplay musicians have given a signed t-shirt worn by Chris Martin on the Rush of Blood tour.
