The BPI has announced that British act Coldplay have shifted more than 8 million albums across Europe in the last year.

The biggest sellers for the band were X And Y and their debut album Parachutes. Robbie Williams was topped the sales chart with 12 million records sold in the last year, while James Blunt’s Back to Bedlam was the biggest individual seller shifting more than 5 million copies throughout Europe.
